LC KANE is a multimedia artist working primarily in music and theatre. Beginning at twelve years old with an interest in composing novels, Kane’s work now spans the worlds of songwriting, vocal performance, acting, sculpture, playwriting, and poetry. Kane’s initial excitement about the arts began due to a severely isolated childhood; homeschooled on a farm in rural Virginia, their work became their escape from day-to-day mediocrity. Kane’s continued ambition to “do it all” comes from two sources; one is the desire to achieve artistic greatness on the level of idols such as David Bowie, Yoko Ono, and PJ Harvey. Second is the desire to show young, struggling people with no voice that creativity and self-expression are the finest reasons to continue living.
